Maileg is a Danish design company which makes unique quality products. The products are mainly toys and decoration articles – all created with an outspoken intrinsic design value. The intention is to spread joy and inspire children to imaginative play.
Are Maileg mice handmade?
All products are BPA-Free and Lead-Free. Our products are made using natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, wood, and metal. We do not use plastic except for the polyester filling for our stuffed toys. Each toy is hand-made or at least hand finished.

Maileg toys are unique for their whimsy and delicateness, they’re a little bit of hygge for kids. Each range has its own personality and they make ideal occasion or birthday presents, with several in the range come in matchboxes, biscuit tins and cigar boxes. What are Maileg mice made of?
Each Maileg toy is made from natural materials like linen and cotton. Our Big Sister Mouse has suede-soft ears and tail. There are lovely, hand-sewn details such as her stitched eyes, nose, and smile. She arrived tucked up in a giant matchbox bed complete with linen mattress, pillow and a teeny, tiny blanket.
Are Maileg toys made in China?
Maileg has a distinct and unique design which is based on contemporary seasons with a lovely range for Christmas and Easter each year. There is a range for babies, younger children and older children. They are made from high quality materials and are manufactured in China.
