Why are dual lands so expensive?
Being able to play duals without worrying about whether or not they come into play tapped, or lose you life, is actually a big deal when every life point counts. This is why legacy is “Expensive” (capital intentional). Almost all the lands that are in high demand were in a low print run and are on the reserved list.
