What does the DAV do with donated clothing?

We keep 90% of the items you donate from ending up in a landfill. The vast majority of your donations end up in thrift stores and with people who can use your items. We recycle almost all of what’s left. 90% of what we collect will either be sold by a thrift store or recycled.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED

• NO LARGE FURNITURE: Couches, sofas, sleeper couches, box springs and mattresses.
• NO LARGE APPLIANCES: Washers/dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and stoves.
• OTHER: Tires, food, any type of fuel, cash or checks. No hazardous materials please.
• Not accepting TVs at this time.
