Does Oyster Travelcard include bus?

Is it cheaper to use an Oyster card on National Rail?
With Oyster PAYG you get the cheapest appropriate single fare on National Rail services in London which means you pay less than the cash fare. Are Travelcards valid on buses? Yes, one day, weekly or monthly Travelcards are valid on London buses. Travelcards valid for any zone can be used to ride the buses all over London.
Is Oyster card cheaper than Travelcard?
As a general rule a Travelcard is more expensive than an Oyster card or Contactless payment card. The exception is if you make 3 or more journeys for 6 days or more within a 7 day period. In this case a 7 day Travelcard works out cheaper than an Oyster or Contactless payment card.
