Is open handed drumming bad?
It is not wrong to play open handed. There are no real pros and cons to open vs crossed. While several points are brought forward, they may be addressed simply by a different drum setup or sticking pattern. The only thing you need to concern yourself about open handed playing is the way your drums are set up.
