How do you pack for fast packing?

What is a Fastpacker?
Participants carry a light pack with essential supplies, including a sleeping bag and tent, or similar form of shelter, if mountain huts or other accommodation is not available. The weight carried will vary but fastpackers aim at no more than 15 pounds (6.8 kg) and some achieve less than 10 pounds (4.5 kg).
How far can you fastpack in a day?
Logistically a backpacker may carry 25 to 30 percent of her bodyweight and cover 10 to 15 miles per day, whereas a fastpacker will carry 10 to 15 percent of her bodyweight and cover 20 to 50 miles in a day.
How many Litres is Fastpacking?

Is a 70l backpack too big?
If you’re not looking to get a backpack for a specific trip, but a pack you’ll be using for all of your trips and everyday use, a 70l backpack is too much. Instead, you should get a 35l or a 50l pack. If you get a backpack with good compression straps, you can use a 50l pack as your everyday carry.
Is a 65L pack too big?
Very large bags, 65L and up, are for long hiking trips. These bags work well in the outdoors when you will be carrying multiple days worth of clothing and camping gear. Bags larger than 65L are too big for travel, even on extended trips. If you’ll be traveling for more than a week or two, you’ll need to do laundry.
