Such is the turbulent nature of Thief, a clunky, intriguing, slapdash, atmospheric stealth game that leashes you to its inconsistencies and gives you no choice but to submit to its whims. The resulting suffocation is at the very least an appropriate circumstance given the heavy aura of The City.
What is the city in ‘the thief’?
This is indeed not just any city, but “The City,” and while you play as Garrett, the master thief who starred in the previous Thief games, The City is the game’s central character. It’s an imposing and claustrophobic community, perpetually cloaked in darkness, from which gothic clock towers and grand cathedrals rise.
How are you rated on Thief missions?
You’re rated on each mission by what approach you took and how often you were spotted, so there’s lots of incentive to go back and try different approaches. It’s just a pity that developer Eidos Montreal didn’t realize that this is what Thief should be all of the time, not just intermittently.
What does Garrett steal in the Book Thief?
As his title would imply, main character Garrett steals pretty much anything that isn’t nailed down, including junk like forks, pens, cups – you name it. His indiscriminate kleptomania makes him seem more like a petty thief than a master, though.
Thief feels unwieldy at times, although it’s not the travesty some reviewers are making it out to be. It’s a beautiful stealth game that’s fun to play in bursts, but it’s hard to recommend it without reservations. No one ever said being a criminal was easy…

The scene isn’t too grafic or violent but with this feature the violence is increase a little bit. Thief Simulator have low changes to be rated E10+ and probaly is going to be rated T, in the worst case this game be rated M for Mature.

Seriously, this game is pretty good. I picked it up used at EB Games and I haven’t been able to put it down ever since. Its got a great soundtrack, it looks great, handles great. The game is everything I expected it to be with some minor glitches and frame issues.
