What is a DMR repeater?
DMR repeaters, just like the analog repeaters, have an input frequency and an output frequency. Analog repeaters use analog PL/DPL tones as a gate to the repeater. These tones are like a “key” to open the repeater to repeat what it’s receiving. If it doesn’t receive the PL/ DPL, it ignores the signal.
