Can you add schools to Caspa after submitting?
You can make limited changes after you submit your application. You can add new test scores, experiences, achievements, and/or certifications (where applicable), but you cannot edit existing entries. You can also update evaluations with “new” or “in-progress” statuses and select additional programs to apply to.
Can PA’s own their own practice?
Can PA’s practice independently? Physician assistants cannot run their own practice. They have to work under the supervision of a physician. Many states allow physicians to determine exactly what constitutes supervision.
How long are recommendation letters usually?
A recommendation should be at least one page, but not more than two. If it’s shorter than one, the applicant may appear weak. If it’s longer than two, it may be too long for someone to review effectively and also may be full of unnecessary information.
Can you submit Caspa without letters of recommendation?
A: Yes. Once you have successfully filled out your application, you can e-submit it to CASPA at any time. However, your application will not be processed until CASPA has received all of your official transcripts, at least two letters of recommendation and your payment.

How long does it take for PA schools to get back to you?
It varies a lot between programs so it just depends on where you apply and how many schools you apply to. As far as hearing back from programs after interviews, it ranged from a month to three days after. If you get waitlisted you could theoretically get a call the day before the program starts that you are in.

How much is the Caspa application fee?
