Is the Snark tuner any good?
3.0 out of 5 stars Works well but not a robust or reliable mechanical design. I have purchased several Snark tuners, including the black SN-5 for tuning an electric bass guitar and a dobro. The SN-5 is a decent tuner, it’s not as fast to register as the Intelli IMT-500, but it’s very accurate.

Amazon has listings for those, such as this page. They also have listings for the newer models, which end in X, for example SN-1X and SN-5X. But as far as I can tell, Snark no longer makes the original models, and I’m tired of returning the ones they keep shipping.
