Are Scentsationals wax cubes toxic?
The problem is that the wax cubes that come with them are full of toxins listed as fragrance. Paraffin wax is the largest and most common hazardous ingredient in wax cubes. When it is burned it decomposes and creates irritating fumes.
How long do fragrance cubes last?
Technically, Scentsy states that a cube of wax will produce a strong fragrance for 6 – 8 hours of warming time before needing to be replaced. In my opinion, some heavier scents last far longer than 8 hours.
Do wax cubes lose their scent?
Wax melts are placed in a warmer and are gradually warmed to melt the wax and fill your home with aroma. Unlike candles, the wax does not evaporate; only the scent dissipates. Once you can no longer smell the fragrance, you can throw away your used wax and start a new scent.

You only need to use one small cube at a time, and some customers even cut the cube and use half at a time. If you have a mid size or larger warmer, we usually suggest two cubes at a time, at the most!
Why won’t my wax melts smell strong?
If you notice that you can’t smell your wax melt very much, it might be time to change wax, or you might find that your nose has gotten used to the smell as you’ve been around it for a long period of time.
What can you do with old wax from a wax warmer?
Simply place your warmer in the freezer for ten to twenty minutes. The wax will become solid and shrink in this time, popping out of your wax-melter. All you need to do then is wipe the dish clean with a paper towel and you are ready to go again.
