Is a rockaRoo the same as a mamaRoo?
We get asked all of the time: What’s the difference between the rockaRoo and the mamaRoo? The mamaRoo bounces up and down and sways from side to side, just like parents do. The rockaRoo has one back and forth gliding motion, and is 1/3 the size of a traditional swing!
How long can a baby be in a rockaRoo?
The rockaRoo® infant swing can be used until the child is six months, sits up, or weighs 25 pounds, whichever comes first.
Are Mamaroos good?
As much as I would have loved this product with its smart design and smooth movements, babies don’t seem to respond well to it and it does nkt keep them calm or soothed. Its also very pricey! For a sure way to make babies happy stick to the good old fashioned Fischer Price swings!
Does the rockaRoo recline?
Thanks for your interest in the rockaRoo infant swing. No, the seat does not recline. You can hike your infant up higher along the curve of the cradle to get a little flexibility though, and that does make a difference.
What is better than mamaRoo?

Are there any problems with the rockaroo?
Sometimes the motor starts acting up, so there is reliability issue with this device. It gets louder than usual at times and stops working altogether at others. 4moms sends out replacement motors, but it’s never nice to put your baby through it. The RockaRoo is exceptional.
