Is Osmo oil durable?

How long does Osmo wood wax finish take to dry?

Is Osmo oil worth the money?
This product is definitely worth the price if you want a good finish, I’ve used the satin finish 2.5l tin. I would also recommend the Osmo brush which doesn’t suffer from bristle loss.
Can you wax over Osmo oil?
Wax on Oil is possible, if the oil is dry, as the wax can be buffed to a shine. It would be best with Sand and Oil only, but check with the application instruction and experiment in a small out of sight area.
Is Osmo scratch resistant?

Can you use Osmo POLYX on wood?
For resinous wood species, use Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin. Two coats can be applied on wooden furniture, doors and joinery, but only one coat on flooring – as a second coat of Osmo Polyx®-Oil is required. Wood grain remains visible with ‘transparent’ tones and wood grain is hidden (after two coats) of ‘intensive’ tones.
How do you use Osmo wax finish on wood?
The wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (max. 18% moisture content). Osmo Wood Wax Finish is ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well before use. Clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed.
How do you use Osmo intensive colours?
Intensive colour (two coats): with Osmo Flat Brush or Microfibre Roller, apply very thinly to the clean and dry wood surface along the wood grain and spread well. Ventilate well while drying. Apply the second coat – also thinly. Note: Larger areas can also be coated by using a scraper.
What is transparent wood finish?
Transparent colours allow for the wood’s natural grain and character to remain visible. For high tread surfaces such as flooring, a second coat of Polyx®-Oil is required. Otherwise, for furniture and joinery a second coat of Wood Wax Finish can be applied for a more intensive colour tone.
