What is Astro sidetone?
Sidetone is a feature that allows you to hear your own voice in the headset as you speak into the microphone. If your ears are covered, you will be prone to speaking louder than necessary; hearing your own voice in the speaker mitigates this.
What does MIC equalizer mean?
It changes the way your microphone audio sounds and is tuned similar to the EQ presets for your game audio. In most cases, you should leave it on Warm which will give it a natural-sounding as we intended.

How do I change my Astro A40 to PC mode?
To change between PC Mode and Console Mode, Press and Hold the Power Button for 3 seconds. The Power Button will also glow with a white or red ring to signify which mode you’re currently in: PC Mode = White ring, Console Mode = Red ring.
